About Ashley

Ashley Weathers(she/her/hers) is a class of 2021 graduate at Florida International University(FIU), in Miami, Florida. Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Ashley chose to attend FIU in hopes to expand her perspective of the world. Now, just 4 years later, Ashley is graduating from FIU with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, a minor in Economics, a global learning medallion, and the distinction of being a Real Triumphs graduate. Throughout university, she has been incredibly involved as a Global Learning Research Fellow, the president of the Model UN team, the campus director of the inaugural Millennium fellowship cohort, an intern for the department of global learning, an intern for NBC's democratic debate, and a dedicated teacher through Best Delegate. She plans to continue working for FIU with the Model UN program and to obtain a masters degree for the next several years. Specifically, she plans to dedicate her life to promoting economic development and financial literacy.
